Other Peoples To Do List

Your inbox is other people’s to do list.

I was first introduced to this framework by Chris Sacca.

Thanks to sanebox I can partially view email as a stream.

Twitter inherently is a stream which if I dont catch something on twitter I dont mind; if its important it will find its way to me.

My automatically sorted folders labeled @sanelater are from people that I dont know along with email newsletters + @sanebulk are twitter, kickstarter and other social notifications. I currently check those folders 5 times a day. I would like to minimize that to once a day.

Currently I have 370 emails in my various primary inboxes that needs my attention/action.

I was contemplating waking up early and doing this in the morning but I didnt want to start my day doing stuff for other people; it distracts from my focus through out the day.

Gonna attempt at getting my inbox to zero until my eyes cant stay open any longer.

Anyways, Im alway up for improving my email routine.

What works for you?
