Good Morning Interwebs Episode 5
our episode from this morning did not record (#livestreamfail), so those who tuned in to see us live had a rare treat. it was an awesome show. (here is Tuesday’s for those who missed it.)
today we talked about:
- The HBO premiere of Mitch McCabe’s movie Youth Knows No Pain. Airing on Monday, watch the trailer here.
- Our new patented move the “party pick” (as in pick and roll) to remove yourself from boring conversations.
- MSG talked about Adobe’s announcement they were not going to support Photoshop CS3 bugs for Apples New OS Snow Leopard
-Fashism’s in-store photobooth at inven.tory and our plans to have you, the viewers, tell us what to wear on tuesday through Fashism’s site. Watch live and hop on their site to give us feedback on our fashions.
-SAI’s genius traffic boosting techniques including:
- Joe Weisenthal’s inflamatory post about Tumblr’s Sharks vs Cats meme
- Dan Frommer and Nicholas Carlson’s competing posts on iPhone knock-offs that was picked up by Valleywag
-Anonymous tweeting and how the web has moved away from anonymity perhaps thanks to Facebook, MSG thinks we’ll have a user verification system like S Korea.
- The Hitler potato meme and our call for a Potato sponsor
- MSG and Alli debate about whether the internet is a waste of time — Alli referenes Nate’s productivity/Tumblr matrix — and whether there is such a thing as “multitasking”
Fellow Interwebbers, am I forgetting anything?
