Be Well, Do Good.

“Who do you think you are, __________?”

ronen-v is a brilliant man even without his appendix:

There was this kid. His name was Mozart.

He was so fucking good at what he did- (he made music) that now, when some bad parent’s child is making music, the derisive parent will sarcastically write off the child who is making noise by saying, “Who do you think you are? Mozart?”

This kid Pablo Picasso.

He excelled at what he did. When he was 15 he made Renoirs as good as Renoir. When his father died, he didn’t understand why his son was painting illegible nothing of whores on canvases and living in squalor in Monmartre when he could be Rembrant.

Then, Les Demoiselles.

Now, when some kid shows a passion for art, a passion a derisive authority figure does not understand, they say “Who do you think you are, Picasso?”

These people had identites and work so strong, they maade their name mean WHAT THEY ARE.

Also: Shakespeare. Uncle Albert. “Wow, you’re some Einstein.”

There are more, but this is the idea: To be so much yourself during your life in this world, that not only do they make words to describe the things you do, but your identity itself becomes the best possible description of that thing.

“Who do you think you are, Ronen Verbit?”

What will that mean? What does that mean to you?

What does your name mean?
